Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Enjoying Babyhood

Well, recently Noble has been a little off agenda with sleep. He was doing great, but for the last few days he has decided not to go to sleep until 6am. The result is that I have been a little brain dead. I’m not as young as I used to be and have difficulty pulling all nighters. (Har har, so old!)

We start Noble’s swimming lessons on Monday; I can’t wait. I am taking him camping up north in September and want to make sure I have him as prepared as possible.

I’m still saving up for that laptop but it is a little difficult at the moment because the government has decided to hold my child tax benefit until they process a 2005 0$ tax return for me. It seems kinda stupid to me; seeing as it’s supposed to be there to help balance off the Canadian jacked up child care costs.

Did you know in Canada you can get a 3 piece crib set for about 160$, but in the US you can get the same theme in a 6 piece set for the same cost? Our dollar value may be going up but the prices sure aren’t coming down.

Oh well, I got a crib but as anticipated Noble absolutely will not use it; he still wants to sleep with mommy. Lucky for me the crib can turn into a toddler bed, an adult bed, and a loveseat! So no money wasted, right? lol
